Black steelies and V8 idle lope. I'll take the Mopar.

Oh what a tough decision. I had to go with the Jag because it is admittedly sexier, and assuming its a V12, the sounds, oh the sounds it would make (not that the Doge wouldn't sound great either, but...)

As much as I love the Challenger, I'd take the Jaaaaaaaaag, especially in that paint color. Love it!

E-Type coupes are absolutely hideous, this one is pretty easy.

Question, does the Challenger have a Hemi and does the Jaguar have a V12?

Edit: Zoomed in on the Challenger, it says Hemi. Challenger wins by default.

I love...LOVE...the Challenger.

This may be blasphemous to some but not feeling the Jag. Not my style.

Depends if you like older Hamptons pussy or young trailer park pussy. Advantages to both.

I voted for the Jaaaaaaag, even though it was hard to. I'd enjoy looking at it more AND driving it more.

Put a Lancia Fulvia 1600HF Series 2 up against this E-Type Series II coupe, and the Lancia would win.

Uh.. uhm.. I can't decide.. The E-type is probably the prettiest car ever made, but that deep burble of a Hemi.. Every fiber in my body says that'd be wrong to vote Yank Tank as a european. But in the end, I'd go with the black behemoth.

The better question is - do you want a car that is likely to start when you turn the key or a car that is a stationary art exhibit?

I would prefer a Corvette over the Jaguar, and a Camaro over the Challenger. But if it absolutely came down to those two...

Challenger.

See, normally I would go E-Type over any Challenger, but I can't stand those Series 2 headlights. This Challenger is also exceptionally pretty with the black steelies on black paint and the splite grille (making this a 71). So the Challenger gets my vote today.

Hemi Challenger ftw.

And this, a particularly rare '72? That's almost unicorn territory.

Ahh, in that case my answer still stands; Gold digger. There is a lot of lube in the world, but herpes stays with you forever. Also, the end result from proper gold digging would hypothetically be enough to afford you the Hemi, so its kind of a win/semi-lose/win situation.

The jag is a Series 2 which has the 4.2 XK6. So while it's not a more desirable 3.8, it's not a V12, which is the least desirable motor option. The Jaguar is British which means there is a large aftermarket interested in actually racing the cars (gutting the car and drag racing a husk doesn't count), which in my book is the only proper way to have any coolness associated with your E-type since E-types are becoming a bit of a cliche now, especially now they've become very expensive and are all babied to bits. There are enough of them produced, and too much of them preserved. Mark my words, the E-Type market will crash within the next 7 years as the value starts to plateau and the people who bought them as an investment will collectively try to monetize their cars. Then everybody finds out that there are more than 70k made, of which 40k are the most valuable series one cars. All of a sudden, there are plenty of E-types to go around.

Then there is the yank tank. If it's immaculate, you're a baby boomer, if it's ratty, you're a baby boomer trying to be cool. If it shows just the right amount of wear to be a loved daily driver, it's supremely cool. However, it won't get you invited to the types of parties a race-prepped Jag E-type would get you invited too. Therefore, the choice is obvious. Jaguar E-Type.

E-type roadsters do nothing for me, but coupes are a whole 'nother ballgame. And that color is beautiful. But...

Hemi Challenger. This ain't even close.

Give me an S1 or S2 XKE and I'll take that over the Dodge any day. But I really don't like the S3 XKE so Of the cars pictured , I'd take the Dodge.

I literally spent half an hour trying to decide, and I had to go with the Challenger. That wheel and paint combination is just too much for me to ignore.
